This special screening block, which features ten short films, is a unique chance for film enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Latin cinema. Spanish fluency is not required as most of the films are either subtitled or crafted in a universal language that transcends linguistic barriers.

Selfi: Dirigida por José M. Díaz, de Lehigh Valley, esta película humorística ahonda en nuestra fijación social con los teléfonos inteligentes y el omnipresente selfie.

El mundo de Arnoldo (7 min): Este conmovedor documental sigue a Arnoldo Televario Coché, un educador maya, mientras navega por los desafíos de ayudar a las comunidades indígenas en Guatemala en medio de la escasez de alimentos, la pobreza y la desnutrición.

Arnoldo’s World (7 min): This poignant documentary follows Arnoldo Televario Coché, a Mayan educator, as he navigates the challenges of aiding indigenous communities in Guatemala amidst food shortages, poverty, and malnutrition.
